Prim, Junior or Tout Public?

The diploma is official in every version. The main difference is the age of the candidate and the type of topics used in the exam.

DELF Prim

For children learning French. The themes and situations are adapted to younger candidates.

Candidate FAQs

Questions worth answering before you pay.

Do DELF / DALF diplomas expire?

No. The official DELF and DALF diplomas are valid for life.

Do I need to pass A1 before taking A2 or B1?

The diplomas are independent. Choose the level that matches your actual French ability rather than assuming you must sit every lower level first.

What score do I need to pass?

You need at least 50 / 100 overall and at least 5 / 25 in each of the four skills.

Which version should my child take?

AFL Lahore publishes DELF Prim for ages 8–12 and DELF Junior for ages 12–18. These versions use themes adapted to younger learners.

I am not sure which level I am ready for. What should I do?

Contact AFL before registering, especially if you have not recently completed a course at the level you plan to sit.

Where do I find the latest dates and fees?
